Congrats to the Germans for a fantastic Group round! The only team in Euro 2012 to win all three matches in the Group stage! 9 pts well deserved!!

I suppose a congratulations is in order to Portugal as well, but I can’t really bring myself to be happy for any win for Christiano Rondaldo. He’s an arrogant, sexist, homophobic jerk - and is completely undeserving of his talent. Portugal’s win today, while due in large part to Ronaldo’s 2 goals, would have been for nothing had the defenders not played so fantastically last week against Denmark. And, if Ronaldo was more of team player, and knew the word “humility” - he would probably have a more consistent record with his national team.
